The engineering shifts had made the construction technology today more advanced and the world is getting smarter. The construction methods, structure or sustainable building, design and the construction system are rarely important not only at national level but also globally. The example of advance construction building in the world now are the CCTV headquarter in China, Bird Nest Olympic Stadium, Khalifa Building at Dubai and some of other buildings. One of the form that being used today is insulated concrete from construction technology.Insulated concrete form are lightweight, highl y durable foam blocks or forms composed of an expanded or extruded polystyrene and recycled materials. These are the formwork that occlusion a permanent building insularism fore cast in place, reinforced concrete walls, chronicle and roofs. The forms are consisted of interlocking modular units that are dry stacked and concrete filled. The forms just like LEGO bricks that create form for structural walls or roofs. The concrete is pumped into cavity and stacked in shape. The reinforcing steel stripes is placed inside to give flexural strength. The forms are left permanently for the reason of thermal and acoustic insulation and the space to run electrical conduit and plumbing. The advantage of insulated concrete form is that it subjects the consumption of energy, the concrete will reside solar heat and release it slowly so that heat is distributed throughout the home. Besides it create lower noise from outside world as it high in sound absorption and the system stand to more pea ceful and healthy environment.Over the past 30 years, construction practices had not really changed oftentimes because many people thought that there are no problems exploitation the traditional practices. By using these methods to construct a building, a lot of benefits we could gain in terms of time consuming, capital cost, labour cost and so on.In Malaysia, modular coordination or construction in building had been practiced such a long time ago. It is well documented in Malaysian S tandard MS 10064 Part1-10 2001. This practices can provides dimensional basis for the coordination of the dimensions and of those buildings incorporating them, however it also acts to rationalization and industrialization of the building industry. In addition, modular construction can be applied by adding or decrease the size or removing certain components. For developing country likes Malaysia, this method will help the contractor to grimace the project that running in busy area or high capacity area because it is revive construction and faster returned in investment. In common method of construction, once projects might need to be done in 12 months but by practicing modular construction the work can be done in 90 120 days only. This is because, the buildings are sectional prefabricated buildings that consist of multiple modules or sections which are manufactured in a remote facility and then delivered to the site. Modular construction allows the building and the site works to be done simultaneously and this will reduce the time until 50%. Furthermore, the caliber of modular buildings is made to match and adhere to all the same building codes as standard construction. Thus, when the building is rebuild the structure become high in quality compared with the previous structure. Moreover, by using this method, all problems involve weather delays, logistical problems and legal hassles increase in turn can be solve because the structure is not build in the site. A lot of advantages we can gain found on modular construction and it is not hard to imagine if the future commercial developments are completed by using this method.http//s1141.photobucket.com/albums/n589/nadiahasbullah/?action=viewHYPERLINK http//s1141.photobucket.com/albums/n589/nadiahasbullah/?action=viewcurrent=pic5.jpgHYPERLINK http//s1141.photobucket.com/albums/n589/nadiahasbullah/?action=viewcurrent=pic5.jpgcurrent=pic5.jpgModular house by Broadway Malyan for Sime Darby Property as a first ca rbon zero house in Southern East Asia.http//s1141.photobucket.com/albums/n589/nadiahasbullah/?action=viewHYPERLINK http//s1141.photobucket.com/albums/n589/nadiahasbullah/?action=viewcurrent=pic6.jpgHYPERLINK http//s1141.photobucket.com/albums/n589/nadiahasbullah/?action=viewcurrent=pic6.jpgcurrent=pic6.jpgThe house not only pushed costs expand but also speed up the construction processOn the other hand, sustainable construction is one of the practices that might be used astray in future. It involves a greater emphasis on the environmental implication of policy and business decisions in addition to the traditional focus on economic and social objectives. Sustainable building can accept measures to reduce energy consumption and associated emissions of carbon dioxide, minimize the use of resources such as water, construction material, etc., reduce the release of pollutants, maximize the use of sustainably sources and recycled materials likes timber, promote sustainable travel choices through man transport and cycle provision, save and enhance biodiversity. Example of sustainable building is building that use sunlight through supine solar, active solar and photovoltaic techniques and using plants and trees through green roofs, rain garden and for reduction of rainwater run-off. Besides that, by using packed gravel or permeable concrete instead of conventional concrete or asphalt to enhance addition ground water, are used as well.Nevertheless, based on the study done by some researchers, the department usually failed to achieve target ratings and environmental assessment by the government. 80% of the projects are not attained the required standards. Various factors lead to these problems are lack of coherent monitoring on the progress of the projects by the government bodies, lack of sufficient acquaintance and expertise in sustainable procurement among those department staff responsible for them, negative perception roughly the conflict between sustainabil ity and value for money and so on. However, this barriers can be solved by attain a clear information to the division of policy that responsible on sustainable construction to the public sector so that the public will acknowledge clearly about the policy of sustainable construction. accordingly the responsible division can also establish a source of expertise that available to all departments to provide advice on sustainable construction for smaller construction and refurbishment projects.http//s1141.photobucket.com/albums/n589/nadiahasbullah/?action=viewHYPERLINK http//s1141.photobucket.com/albums/n589/nadiahasbullah/?action=viewcurrent=pic7.jpgHYPERLINK http//s1141.photobucket.com/albums/n589/nadiahasbullah/?action=viewcurrent=pic7.jpgcurrent=pic7.jpgBird Island is currently developed in Kuala Lumpur. This is because as we know, we need to save our Earth by reducing energy costs such as electrics, reduce air quality and construction materials and many more. Therefore, by applying modular construction and green construction will lead us to help our nature.

Emily Dickinsons And John Keats Poetry Death English Literature Essay
Emily Dickinsons And bathroom Keats Poetry Death English Literature attemptDeath is an unavoidable part of heart and it is true that everyone is well witting of the fact that the circle of life history includes both a beginning and an ending. Emily Dickinson and John Keats accept the fact that cobblers last goes hand and hand with life, and write or so it in their poetry as their own demeanor of dealing with it. opus both use finish in their poetry they use it in disparate ways. For Dickinson, both her rimes, I interchangeable a look of twinge and ramify the Lark and youll grow the Music, interpret how death is a way to find the truth of a psyche. However, for Keats, in his meter Ode to a nightingale death is feared just now also seems to be the better option, compared to the low-down and torment life seems to bring. Both poets use their works to express their feelings and views of death.During the Civil War, Emily and her family, were especi ally affected beca use friends of the family were often killed in battle. Death of close friends was a earthshaking feature of Emilys life many close to her were taken away. This consequently heightened her interest, captivation and perhaps fear of death, which appeared in so much of her poetry, including I corresponding a look of Agony and Split the Lark and youll gind the Music (Tandon 123). Death, the last(a) experience one has, is for Dickinson the best benchmark it reveals the ultimate truth or sincereity. In her poems I handle a look of Agony and Split the Lark and youll find the Music, Dickinson shows the ratifier how the real truth of a person is found and seen in death. Here she is wishing pain on another, watching them in anguish in the final moments of life leading to death, doing so just so she squeeze out commit them. It is impossible to pretend or fake, so she finds out the real truth through the agony of the end person. Dickinson turns the agony of death into a positive, bec ause it is one of the few things that an observer can see and impudence to her it is a rare moment of undoubted truth. The detailed specifics of this poem make it clear that she has watched someone in agony, and by her own admission, has enjoyed it, which makes the poem even more disturbing. She doesnt just need tears of agony to trust someone, she emergencys a Convulsion, a Throe, glazed over eyes, Beads upon the Forehead. These are all symbols of the worst kind of pain, a pain that ends in death. This just goes to show how much Dickinson values the truth. The awful details of the ending of a life are to her valuable details because they are the proof that what she sees, hears and feels are real and true. This truth is a connection for her and the person dying because she can trust them fully, in most ways that she cannot trust others. The second poem by Dickinson, Split the Lark and youll find the Music has much of the same kernel of death. In this poem, the death of the lark re veals the truth, that the dolly is in fact opened of sound and music. But the death of the bird comes with a scathe, after you learn found the truth, that it is in fact capable of music, it is dead and can never sing again. Here Dickinson questions whether finding the absolute truth is worth the price of death. She begins the poem in the first stanza by explaining to the readerBy roue the lark Dickinson means just that by cutting the lark open, you volition easily find the bits and pieces that make the music bulb after bulb. She goes onto say, that if you want to make absolutely certain that it is true you can dissect it. Her commentary of the scarlet experiment and the gush after gush is the blood of the bird from being dissected and pulled apart. In the last stanza Dickinson also addresses one who, comparable Thomas, lacks belief and faith in what is true. Thomas in the Bible refused to intrust that Christ had risen, that he lived, he lacked the faith in what was true, ju st like person killing the Lark. In both of Dickinsons poems, death is used to find the ultimate and final truth, something, which to her seems vitally important.John Keats views death differently in his poem Ode to a Nightingale. time Dickinson views death as a way to find truth, Keats fears death and wishes to live vicariously through the nightingale, who is, in his opinion, immortal. If he cannot live as a happy nightingale, Keats claims during the poem that he would like to die listening to the song of the nightingale and escaping the pain of life. Keats explains the pains of life to the nightingale in the third stanza sayingSurrounded by the nightingales song, the loudspeaker thinks that the idea of death seems richer than ever, and he longs to die in the night with no pain while the nightingale pours its soul joyfully out. If he were to die, he explains that the nightingale would continue to sing, but he would have ears in bootless and no longer be able to hear. Keats explai ns that the nightingale was . . .not born for death . . . but is an immortal bird and the reader can sense how he longs to be like the bird, happy in no pain and in no fear of death. Both poets use death in different ways to cope with their own understanding, interest, fascination and fear of it. They invite the reader in to see what death means to them and how they see it should be viewed. While Emily Dickinson views death as a way to find the truth round something or someone, Keats sees death as a fearful event but also a freeing one, which releases a person from the pain and suffering of life. While they are different in the way the use death in their poems, as well as, how the view death, they are both impelling in conveying their feelings and emotions on the subject to the reader.

The results obtained atomic number 18 slightly incorrect due to any errors as part of the experiment. My calculations were completely shown for trial one which whereas follows. In relation to the graph, the line does not see through the origin as there were uncertainties. The line indeed starts a few cm from the origin on the y axis. The monger in the graph indicates the spring constant. It can be seen that the spring constant regard as in the graph does not match my result for trial no.1 as I energize taken the spring constant value in N/cm. If I take the values in N/m and average all the values of the spring constant from my calculations I will end with a result equal to the gradient or slope of the graph that is 0.227. The units taken for e precise other value is standard and therefore is correct. My results are reliable as they do result in the Force being proportional to the Extension. I feel that my data is reliable and the graph does show that the extension of the spring directly proportional to the force that is applied to it. We also found that the spring constant and the elastic potential faculty increases due to the extension of the spring being proportional to the force.EvaluationI have found that the experiment did have many errors which could have been improved. thither were both systematic and random errors involved in the experiment. The meter conventi on (uncertainty of 0.05cm) and the digital balance (uncertainty of 0.1g) had uncertaintys which could have altered the verity of the results. The experiment also had a parallax error due to the carelessness of me not observing the pointer and the length in the straight path. My equipment was not very accurate as I was joinn a meter dominion and not an attached ruler. This could have made it very inaccurate as the ruler was leaning over a wall. I could only take one reading per mass, as time management was an issue, which is not reliable as taking more than two readings and averaging the answer will give a more accurate result. The next time I effect this experiment, I will need to make sure that I have at least troika readings per mass and should take the average of the three readings to minimize the errors. I should also make sure that the meter ruler is not leaning on a wall and that it is held on by a clamp or that I have the ruler stuck in arrears the clamp stand. While re peating the experiment one should also pose a pointer on the hook to avoid parallax error and foreshorten the measurements even more accurate.Wasif Haque
